BREAKERS STRETCH THEIR STREAK TO 5 STRAIGHT.

In games that started as the city finally cooled off the Blue Ankle Breakers fought off the Green Hurricanes 58-44 in the highest scoring game of the season so far.

Down to just 5 man, the Breakers (5-0) kept a score ahead of the Canes (1-4) through 2 turnovers, Ethan McKean and Harry Clarke notching up multiple scores and gutting it out on defense as well.

The Canes have taken their time to get their offense into gear this season but 44 points was an excellent return on their midweek practice.

The 2nd game was also closely contested. The White Lions (2-3) behind Daniel Mauga-Hall's 3 scores gave them a 44-36 final over the Golden Phoenix (2-3). The Phoenix got a much greater yield from their touchdowns, chipping in with PAT's on three of them, the Lions scoring 2 extra touchdowns overall.

Ankle Breakers 5-0 (202 For, 113 Against)
Golden Phoenix 2-3 (149 For, 147 Against)
White Lions 2-3 (126 For, 134 Against)
Green Hurricane 1-4 (123 For, 153 Against)

Next week the Breakers will play the White Lions and Hurricanes will play the Golden Phoenix.

COLTS TEAM HANDLES THE WET FOR HUGE WIN.

The mud, my goodness the mud!!!!

The return game vs the UTS Gators was held up on the Central Coast in one of the wetter games that the Seahawks have had to get through. A full credit in particular to the Center, QB and Running Backs that they kept the team streak of not giving up a fumble; something that UTS team could not match.

Haoping Tang added another 3 rushing touchdowns and Quarterback Daniel Besz picked up several first downs as the offense scored 6 touchdowns building a 36-0 half time lead.

The defense added its 8th touchdown for the season as well as a safety, cornerback Dylan Dinale having 2 interceptions and Jackson Young blocking a punt. UTS did not gain a first down and were kept to negative yardage on the day, a monster effort by the defense and very rare outcome.

The Seahawks offense spread the scoring, 6 different receivers, Corey Delvalle having his first receiving touchdown on a 43 yard pass out of the backfield and Reece Weston scoring his 2 point PAT.

The Seahawks (7-0) will have the week off and then take on the West Sydney Pirates to round out the regular season before the playoffs start.

MOST DOMINANT GAME OF THE YEAR SO FAR.

The Sutherland Seahawks Colts team made easy work of the UTS Gators with a 46-0 win at Penannt Hills on Saturday.

Despite starting with backup QB Justin Whiting in his first career start at the position, the offense was commanding. Running Back Haoping Tang scored 4 rushing touchdowns until veteran Qb Daniel Besz arrived at halftime throwing a touchdown to Jackson Young for the offense's 5th score.

The defense gave up several first downs but did not give up a point. Young had 10 tackles at linebacker and defensive line whilst Jarrad Atkins had his first ever touchdown from an interception on the goal line that he took in to the endzone.

Safety Josh Hayward had 7 tackles for the game as the defense rallied from sideline to sideline against a UTS offense that was determined to attempt to get to the edge.

Back at the receiver position, Whiting had one of the best receptions of the year for 44 yard catch until receiver Matthew Gordon grabbed a 2 point PAT just getting his foot in-bounds.

Next week the Seahawks will travel to the Central Coast for a 5pm game against UTS for a second time. In a strange twist of scheduling the Seahawks played Sydney Uni in back to back games, now UTS in back to back games. Slade Park, Budgewoi is the venue, Saturday November 14th.
